Services & Information

In Finca Momota we work hard to help you with whatever needed

Coffee Tours

We process coffee from the planting of seeds until roasting and final packaging in a unique biodiverse environment that combines ancestral techniques with permaculture design. In our tours we will explain the fascinating process of coffee production as well as share the diversity our beautiful land with you. With its own native forest and sustainable wax palms you will see that Finca Momota is much more than just a coffee farm.

Fire Pit

In the Camping area there is a special place to make a great bonfire, where you can cook, sit and watch the stars, play music, chat or simply relax.

We have a laundry service for our guests. As we are in a rural area, the water is very precious. To save water we try to do large loads and limit the number of washes per day. Eventually we plan to harvest rain water.

Tourist Information

During your stay at Momota we will do our best to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. We can assist with bus times and reservations, coffee tours, horse back riding, excursions around Salento, restaurants and much more. Just ask!

Getting to Momota

Access to the property is by foot, horse or bicycle. Momota is located on  the “Camino Nacional”. The neighbours do everything possible to keep it in good condition but we still recommend walking shoes or boots to get here.

Because we are on the historic “Camino Nacional”, the entry of cars and motorcycles is prohibited. However walking just 5 minutes along the “Camino Nacional” you will begin to enjoy nature and trace the steps where Simon Bolivar passed on horse back. You can also horse ride to Finca Momota, which we can organise if you prefer. Salento town has many car parking lots if required.
